Job Title: Director, Transactions

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Director, Transactions. This role will play a critical part in shaping and advancing business development through the execution of various strategic transactions, including partnerships, mergers, and acquisitions (M&A), diversification, joint ventures, management agreements, and joint operating agreements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute business development strategies to drive growth and expansion.
  • Lead complex transactions from inception to completion, including due diligence, negotiation, and deal process management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and operations, to ensure successful transaction execution.
  • Provide strategic guidance and support to senior leadership on business development initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments, and identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate development, investment banking, and/or healthcare finance, with a focus on the healthcare sector.
  • Proven track record of partnering with legal advisors and finance teams as part of business development strategy and implementation.
  • Demonstrated experience in formulating, assessing, structuring, communicating, and driving corporate development plans from inception to completion.
  • Strong problem identification, analysis, resolution, negotiation, and persuasion skills focused on strategic and growth initiatives.
  • Effective oral and written communication and engaging presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts clearly and concisely.
