We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director, Business Systems to join our team at Tanium. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive strategy for our Sales and Marketing technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a Vision for Sales & Marketing Technology: Collaborate with stakeholders across the company to develop a clear and compelling vision for our Sales and Marketing technologies, and lead the implementation of this vision.
  • Lead a Distributed Team: Manage a team of architects, engineers, and analysts responsible for the evolution and maintenance of our Sales and Marketing technologies, and ensure that they have the necessary skills and resources to succeed.
  • Manage Support Metrics: Oversee the support team and measure support metrics to improve throughput and quality, and ensure that our customers receive exceptional support.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with stakeholders across the company to align and prioritize business needs within a consolidated strategy, and consult on the implications of new systems, integrations, and changes to existing technologies.
  • Refine and Improve Development Work: Refine and improve ongoing development, break-fix, and implementation work using Agile methodologies, and define, mature, and enforce governance processes and technology controls.
  • Monitor and Report on Technology Health: Monitor, measure, and report on the health and effectiveness of our Sales and Marketing technologies, and chair the Sales Systems steering committee.
  • Maintain Executive Relationships: Maintain and develop relationships with executive leadership across Tanium to enhance strategy alignment and awareness of new and existing capabilities.
Requirements
  • IT Leadership Experience: 10+ years of IT leadership experience, with a proven track record of running a team of architects, administrators, engineers, and analysts, assessing performance, and cultivating talent.
  • Cloud-Based Endpoint Management Experience: 5+ years of experience with cloud-based endpoint management, including Salesforce development, and a deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, functionality, integrations, and development processes.
  • Integration Systems Experience: Strong knowledge of integration systems, including Salesforce, Workato, APIs, and experience with DevOps tools like Gearset and GitHub.
  • Agile Experience: Strong experience working with Agile and Scrum, and the ability to lead the Agile team and manage the backlog.
  • Business Application Experience: Good understanding of enterprise business applications, including ERP and HRIS, and phenomenal verbal and written communication skills.
