Job Summary

Roxbury Community College is seeking a highly qualified Assistant Athletic Director, Sports Medicine to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of student-athletes, providing medical care and treatment, and overseeing the sports medicine program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor practice and games to ensure student-athlete safety
  • Evaluate and treat injuries, and provide rehabilitation and treatment
  • Develop and implement policies and programs to promote health, safety, and performance
  • Assist with reviewing and monitoring academic progress of student-athletes
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for student-athletes
  • Refer student-athletes to medical professionals as needed
  • Manage health records and forms for student-athletes
Requirements
  • Master's degree in athletic training required
  • 2-4 years of experience in athletic training required
  • Certification by BOC in Athletic Training and as a Licensed Athletic Trainer by the Massachusetts Board of Allied Health required
