Position Overview:

We are in search of a motivated and experienced Permanent Employment Litigation Associate to become a vital part of our expanding legal team.

This role presents an exciting chance to manage intricate employment litigation cases, offering expert guidance and counsel to our clients.

The ideal candidate will possess a profound knowledge of employment law and a successful history of overseeing litigation from inception to resolution.

This position demands exceptional capabilities in drafting, revising employee handbooks, and advocating motions in both state and federal courts.

Key Responsibilities:
As our Employment Litigation Associate, your duties will encompass:

  • Managing a diverse range of employment litigation cases, including wrongful termination, discrimination, and wage and hour claims.
  • Effectively responding to pleadings and overseeing discovery processes.
  • Drafting and updating employee handbooks, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws.
  • Advocating motions and representing clients in both state and federal courts.
  • Providing expert legal advice on labor and employment matters to clients and internal teams.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to devise strategies for litigation and dispute resolution.
  • Staying informed on changes in employment law and advising clients accordingly.

Qualifications:
To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:

  • A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school, with strong academic credentials.
  • Admission to the Colorado Bar.
  • A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in employment litigation.
  • Demonstrated experience in responding to pleadings and managing discovery.
  • Proven ability to handle litigation matters from start to finish.
  • Extensive experience in drafting and revising employee handbooks.
  • Proven experience advocating motions in state and federal courts.
  • In-depth understanding of labor and employment law.
  • Strong writing and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
