Job Summary

MXR Imaging, Inc. is seeking a skilled Electronics Repair Specialist to join our team. As an MRI System Technician, you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, calibrating, and verifying the performance of imaging systems and associated parts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair parts for sale requests based on repair lists and provide phone technical support to customers.
  • Confirm and communicate tech stock levels, ensuring proper inventory management.
  • Perform installations and deinstallations of systems in-house as needed.
  • Conduct quarterly preventative maintenance on in-house systems.
  • Test, analyze, and diagnose parts and systems.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment.
  • Perform incoming inspections, quality control, testing, calibration, and image evaluation of equipment according to manufacturer specifications and guidelines.
  • Demonstrate adherence to business core values and exhibit integrity in all professional interactions.
  • Support quality initiatives and contribute to the organization's success.
Requirements
  • AA degree or higher in Electronics or Military equivalent.
  • Electronic Technician certification or comparable certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields.
  • Experience with JTAG would be beneficial.
Competencies
  • Proficiency with serial data communication protocols (CAN, I2C, SPI).
  • Proficiency with bus interfaces (USB, PCI).
  • Knowledge of embedded microprocessors and microcontrollers.
  • Excellent technical troubleshooting skills.
  • Typical use of hand tools and some power/air tools.
  • Attention to detail and well-organized with good follow-through.
  • Ability to work well with all levels of management, clients, end-users, and vendors.
  • Great physical stamina and manual dexterity.
