About the Role

At Blue Origin, we're pushing the boundaries of space exploration and development. As an Avionics Chief Engineer, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the technical integrity and compliance of our spacecraft systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain the avionics technical baseline for multiple product lines
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive technical decisions and ensure compliance
  • Lead the development of avionics systems, including design, analysis, and testing
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers
  • Represent the company in technical forums and with customers
Requirements
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in advanced space-rated avionics design, development, or analysis
  • Proven experience as a Chief Engineer on space-rated avionics development programs
  • Strong understanding of spacecraft Flight Software architectures, design, and engineering
  • Experience in wire harness design and manufacturing
  • Ability to travel and/or temporary duty in support of growing tempos of production and operations
