At Entegee, we specialize in custom automation projects and are a major player in the world of controls and robotic solutions around the world. Our expertise spans various industries, and we take pride in expanding our associates' resumes and helping them become top-performing controls engineers.

As a Senior Controls Engineer for Avionics Systems, you will work on military aircraft systems, collaborating with our Engineering Lead for Performance Software and Avionics Systems Manager. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement high-performance software and avionics systems for military aircraft, such as the F15 and F18, for the Air Force and Navy.

This role requires a strong understanding of FPGA design and ASIC design skills, as well as proficiency in VHDL or Verilog HDL coding. Experience with Xilinx Vivado/ISE or Altera Quartus chips, digital simulation using Modelsim/Questa, and knowledge of timing-driven design and clock domain crossing circuitry are also essential. Additionally, you should have experience with high-speed interfaces (PCIe, SerDes, ADC/DAC, DDR3/4) and familiarity with revision control systems (GIT, CVS, Clearcase, Subversion).

We are looking for a candidate with a BS degree and strong FPGA design or ASIC design skills. Preferred skills include experience in UVM-based test environments and SysVerilog, Matlab/Simulink for running simulations, and digital signal processing and FPGA implementation.

The estimated salary for this role is $54.00 to $72.00 per hour, depending on experience. Our benefit offerings provide employees with flexibility to choose the type of coverage that meets their individual needs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and a 401K plan.

We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records subject to federal contractor requirements and/or security clearance requirements. If you are a motivated and experienced controls engineer looking to expand your skills and work on challenging projects, we encourage you to apply.
