Full-Time Retail Furniture Consultants can earn between $70,000 and $100,000 annually.

Part-Time Retail Furniture Consultants have the opportunity to earn $30 to $50 per hour.

Position Overview:

All newly hired sales professionals will participate in a thorough paid training program designed to equip them with the necessary knowledge and skills to deliver an unparalleled shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Exceed customer expectations by providing exceptional service and product knowledge.
• Welcome customers in a friendly, timely, and professional manner.
• Focus on achieving daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals set by management.
• Engage in company meetings and training sessions to enhance performance and skills.
• Act as a brand ambassador for Cardis Furniture by implementing creative strategies for business growth through networking and prospecting.
• Contribute to a positive and energetic work atmosphere.
• Accurately enter all sales orders into the system and review them with customers for completeness.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Required Skills:

• Ability to work a retail schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience or knowledge in interior design or sales is a plus but not mandatory.
• Physically capable of being on your feet and moving throughout the showroom for extended periods.
• Maintain professionalism and emotional composure in a business setting.
• Strong work ethic and reliability are essential.
• General computer skills are required.
• Professional attire is mandatory.

Work Environment / Physical Requirements:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this role. Work is performed in a retail environment, utilizing standard office equipment such as computers and phones. Regular interaction with products is required to demonstrate features to customers. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and depth perception. The employee will frequently walk or stand on the showroom floor and may need to lift and carry small items up to 30 pounds.

Education and Experience:

A high school diploma or GED is preferred but not required. Previous experience in sales or customer service is advantageous but not essential. Familiarity with a commission-based work environment is preferred but not mandatory.
