Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. As a Sales Representative, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base while supporting the distributor channel in the market.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, prospecting, and lead generation.
  • Qualify inbound marketing leads against defined criteria.
  • Manage sales opportunities through the full cycle from initial contact to closed won.
  • Advance sales process, address objections, and negotiate terms.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Conduct product presentations, tailored solutions, merchandising, and demonstrations to potential and existing clients.
  • Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales deals to achieve or exceed sales targets.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and product development teams to ensure implementation and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, pricing landscape, and competitors to effectively position our products/service.
  • Participate in company tastings, samplings, and marketing events.
  • Participate in distributor ride-a-longs and training activities when necessary.

  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Prospecting and new business hunting capabilities.
  • Ability to effectively demo and present product solutions.
  • Strong drive for results and ability to consistently meet goals.
  • Strong Public speaking and demonstration abilities.
  • Time management and prioritization skills.
  • Frequent driving and walking most of the day.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

Qualifications:

  • Residential proximity to Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill, NC area for scope of work throughout the week.
  • 2-3 years of proven experience as a Sales Representative, or similar role preferred.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and MS Office Suite preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license required.
