The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payment of invoices, as well as communicating with internal and external stakeholders. This role also involves performing administrative and clerical tasks.
**Key Responsibilities**
• Process invoices and credit memos through data entry and automated invoicing systems.
• Verify the accuracy of invoices and credit memos, and resolve any discrepancies.
• Monitor open purchase orders and code non-purchase order invoices.
• Assist with month-end closing and perform administrative accounting duties.
**Requirements**
• One year of higher education or equivalent experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports, and maintain communication with stakeholders.
• Strong mathematical and reasoning abilities.
• Demonstrated aptitude for effective use of IS technologies.
