Payment Operations Specialist

Capital Credit Union is a dynamic organization that empowers its members to achieve their goals. We're seeking a skilled Payment Operations Specialist to join our team at our Main Office in Bismarck.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process data and transactions that affect members' accounts, including ACH, share drafts, mobile/remote ATM deposits, and wires.
  • Serve as a liaison between the Credit Union and vendors related to card services, ACH processing, and other services within your area of responsibility.
  • Respond to staff and member requests related to card services, wires, ACH processing, and other related services.
  • Monitor plastic card portfolio for quality control, required reporting, and responding to questions from staff and members.
  • Maintain and review card fraud filters and alerts to minimize fraud loss.
  • Manage and process member card disputes, chargebacks, and processing of chargeback checks.
  • Receive, review, approve, and process share draft transmissions, ACH transactions, Remote Deposit Capture (RDC) transactions, and deposit taking ATM transactions.
Requirements:
  • 40 hours a week, typically 8am-5pm Monday-Friday.
  • Education equivalent to two-year degree or a minimum of two years related experience required.
  • Effective communication with coworkers and members.
  • Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
  • Passion for service and supporting the mission and vision of Capital Credit Union.
