Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mammography Technologist Lead to join our team at DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital. As a key member of our Diagnostic Imaging department, you will be responsible for coordinating the flow of work, delegating tasks, and ensuring that our mammography procedures are performed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and oversee the work of mammography technologists, ensuring that procedures are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Monitor and maintain the quality of work, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and department standards.
  • Provide guidance and training to staff members, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
Requirements
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Mammography (M).
  • Two or more years of progressively more responsible mammography technologist work experience.
  • Excellent analytical, clinical, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Ability to work productively and effectively within a complex environment, handling multiple priorities and deadlines.
