Position Overview:
The Estimation Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the take-off process for all active construction plans at Lennar Homes. This position is vital for maintaining the high standards of quality and customer satisfaction that Lennar is known for.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor the estimating team to achieve optimal performance and results.
- Oversee the verification and adjustment of material take-offs for prototype homes and active plans.
- Collaborate with Area Construction Managers to address and resolve any discrepancies in take-off plans.
- Manage the workload of the estimating team to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Conduct field inspections to validate architectural and engineering materials for new prototype homes.
- Monitor material usage and address any overages or shortages as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of take-off data using Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
- Engage with Purchasing Managers and Area Managers to troubleshoot take-off issues and implement solutions.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; a college degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in residential construction.
- Proficient in computer applications, including JD Edwards, Auto CAD, and Excel.
- Strong understanding of residential construction processes and architectural design.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with a focus on detail-oriented tasks.

Work Environment:
This role requires the ability to work in both office and field settings, which may involve extended hours and physical activity, including lifting and moving items up to 50 pounds.
