Job Summary

Kubota Manufacturing of America is seeking an experienced Occupational Health Nurse to join our team. As an Occupational Health Nurse, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and wellbeing of our team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement workplace wellness programs to promote employee health and productivity
  • Conduct workplace hazard assessments and develop strategies to mitigate risks
  • Manage workers' compensation claims and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with departments to identify and implement accommodations and return-to-work options for employees with restricted duty
  • Assess healthcare needs and facilitate return-to-work programs
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of occupational health services and programs
  • Provide training and education to employees on workplace safety and health procedures
  • Conduct investigations into workplace incidents and near misses
  • Develop and implement controls to prevent injuries and illnesses

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years occupational nursing experience
  • Degree in Nursing (or equivalent) and current valid State of GA license
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • English language competency and legible writing ability

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Licensed Practical Nurse
  • OSHA 10 or 30 hour Certification, First Aid, CPR, and/or First Responder

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the team member must have the ability to work in extreme hot or cold conditions, stand for the duration of the shift, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; ascend stairs; balance; stoop, kneel or crouch; talk and hear. In addition, the team member must occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus.
