**Job Summary**
A global professional services organization seeks a skilled Global Accounts Payable professional to support their dynamic team. This role will be responsible for providing expertise to the Accounts Payable Specialists, while acting as a firm resource regarding accounts payable questions and issues.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Assist with troubleshooting and provide guidance to junior employees
* Answer questions and direct correspondence to the appropriate individual; coordinate and communicate with practice office accounting requests and provide progress updates
* Process and coordinate expense reimbursements electronically for assigned practice offices
* Review firm credit card program statement reconciliations for proper approvals, backup, and coding; work with individual cardholders regarding reconciliation errors and omissions
* Maintain, file, and coordinate A/P records in accordance with firm's policies and procedures
**Requirements:**
* Demonstrate well-developed and professional interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firm
* Possess thorough knowledge of bookkeeping procedures such as posting, balancing, debits and credits, and journal entries
* A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or a related field, or a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree
* A minimum of six (6) years of relevant accounting experience in areas involving A/P processes and practices
* A minimum of one (1) year of experience with electronic (EDI) vendor processing
