Job Summary

The YMCA of Greater Tulsa is seeking an experienced and dynamic Executive Director to lead our branch operations. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for the overall success of our branch, including program management, membership growth, volunteer and staff development, fundraising, and community partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Branch Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for members and program participants.
  • Membership Growth: Develop and implement strategies to increase membership sales and recruitment, meeting or exceeding annual targets.
  • Program Management: Lead the development and implementation of programs and services that meet the needs of our members and community, including partnerships with local organizations.
  • Volunteer and Staff Development: Recruit, develop, and lead a team of volunteers and staff, providing training and support to ensure their success.
  • Fundraising: Develop and implement fundraising strategies to support branch operations and programs, including annual campaigns and special events.
  • Community Partnerships: Foster strong relationships with local community organizations, businesses, and government agencies to promote the YMCA's mission and services.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years YMCA exempt/professional work experience or equivalent in a related field or company.
  • Skills: Proven ability to raise funds and grow membership, volunteer or staff supervision experience, knowledge of the YMCA as a membership organization, and knowledge & experience in budgeting, financial development, and board / community relations.
