Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team at Parts Authority LLC. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for receiving, labeling, and storing incoming shipments, as well as maintaining accurate records of inventory and stock.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive and process incoming shipments, ensuring accurate labeling and storage
  • Maintain clear and concise records of inventory and stock, including tracking and reporting
  • Inspect stock for damages and maintain records of any issues
  • Organize warehouse space to ensure efficient storage and retrieval of inventory
  • Prepare and process orders for shipment, including picking and packing
  • Record exact arrival and departure times for shipments
  • Operate stock management tools, including powered industrial equipment and pallet jacks
  • Count and reconcile inventory, maintaining accurate records
  • Perform routine cleaning duties to maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Interface with management to ensure key objectives are met
Requirements:
  • Accurately follow directions, both written and verbal
  • Maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements
  • Regularly lift, push, pull, and/or move objects 10-50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh up to 100lbs
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach
  • Occasionally required to sit and climb (ladders and/or stairs) or balance
  • May be subject to environmental conditions, including temperature changes
  • May be required to function in narrow aisles or passageways
  • Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust and focus
  • Attention to detail, great communication skills, time management skills, and ability to work well under pressure
  • Able to work well with other staff members and supervisors
  • Must have an open availability, flexible, and able to work various shifts and overtime
  • 1-2 years warehouse experience preferred
  • Familiarity with safety measures in a warehouse
