Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to join our team at Golden State Foods. As a key member of our distribution center, you will be responsible for accurately picking, lifting, and placing product into pallets to build customer orders in various temperature environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pick, lift, and place product into pallets to accurately build customer orders
  • Visually inspect incoming and outgoing warehouse products to determine acceptability for shipment and/or receiving of product
  • Read labels and associated documents to verify accuracy of shipment
  • Operate a forklift or pallet jack to move product into a trailer or storage unit
  • Clean work area and complete any other functions assigned
Requirements
  • Licensed fork lift operator with a minimum of six months of safe operation of material handling equipment
  • Able to perform accurate visual inspections and repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds
  • Physically capable of standing, walking, and twisting while carrying 50-pound objects
  • HS Diploma or equivalent required
Work Environment

This is a physical position that requires the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will be required to stand, walk, and twist while carrying 50-pound objects. You will also be required to work in a cold environment and experience temperature changes.
