The Janitorial Director will be responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling functions and activities of the department. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective cleaning and maintenance programs to ensure a safe and healthy environment for employees and clients.
  • Manage and ensure regulatory compliance with the Joint Commission, State Health Department, EPA, DEP, ADA, UST, and other regulatory agencies.
  • Provide guidance, training, and motivation to staff to ensure they are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
  • Monitor work performance and prepare performance evaluations for personnel.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of services and achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent related experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years hospital engineering maintenance experience at Director or Assistant Director level required.
  • Experience in hospital project and construction management preferred.
  • Working knowledge of the Joint Commission, NFPA, and other healthcare regulatory agencies.
