Maintenance Director

Seeking a skilled Maintenance Manager to lead our Engineering department and drive hotel profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement business strategies aligned with Radisson's mission, vision, and values.
  • Maximize revenue and profitability by directing the Engineering department.
  • Manage the Engineering team and third-party vendors to ensure superior service and quality.
  • Develop and implement quality control programs, conduct annual compliance training, and review contracts with vendors and clients.
  • Interpret plans and contract terms with the Engineering team, management, clients, and vendors.
  • Manage the relationship with the outsourced security company and guest incident reporting.
  • Monitor compliance with building safety codes, protocols, health and safety laws, and other regulations.
  • Maintain Responsible Business programs and training for the hotel.
  • Manage hotel renovations, coordinate project status with Corporate Technical Services, architects, licensing agencies, contractors, and hotel management.

Requirements/Skills:

  • Minimum of two years of supervisory experience in the hotel industry.
  • Minimum of two years of work experience at a similar size hotel.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Able to resolve conflicts with guests, supervisors, and employees.
  • Able to collaborate effectively with other hotel employees and managers to ensure teamwork.
  • Advanced knowledge of building management and engineering.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • General understanding of insurance requirements.
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
