Job Summary

Bering Straits Native Corporation (BSNC) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Economic Support Funds Program Specialist II to join our team. As a key member of our Indo-Pacific Program Management team, you will play a critical role in coordinating all aspects of our regional Economic Support Funds (ESF) for South Asia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement annual program recommendations for the SCA/STA managed regional ESF for South Asia.
  • Lead relationships with implementing partners to maintain oversight of activities and ensure the effective execution of SCAs foreign assistance programs.
  • Develop contacts with representatives of civil society, think tanks, and other government agencies working in the region to further create opportunities for the most effective possible programming.
  • Maintain, update, and develop as necessary systems for the efficient and accessible retrieval of documents regarding the allocation, notification, transfer, and implementation of SCAs Indo-Pacific programs.
  • Manage complex budget requests to Congress, identification of implementers, project design, developing program plans and performance reports required by the Director of Foreign Assistance and the Office of Management and Budget, and monitoring and evaluation of program performance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of foreign policies and experience in program management, budgeting, and foreign assistance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Must be able to obtain the appropriate clearance levels required and be able to obtain access to military installations.
