We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Clinician to join our team at Senior Care Therapy. As a Geriatric Population Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work with our senior residents, providing high-quality psychotherapy services and making a meaningful impact on their lives.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to provide individual and group sessions to our senior residents.
- Conduct initial assessments and follow-up sessions to help residents navigate the challenges of aging.
- Develop and implement treatment plans that address the unique needs of our geriatric population.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records using our electronic medical/health system.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay up-to-date on best practices in geriatric mental health.
- Master's or doctoral degree in a relevant field (e.g., psychology, social work, counseling).
- Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Clinician (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or other relevant licensure.
- Experience working with geriatric populations, preferably in a skilled nursing, hospital, hospice, or home care setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
