Job Summary:

Nixon Power Services is seeking a skilled Generator Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our generator systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on generator systems, including oil changes, filter replacements, and belt replacements.
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex issues with generator systems, including electrical and mechanical problems.
  • Install and test new generator units, ensuring they meet our high standards for quality and performance.
  • Respond quickly to emergency situations, providing timely and effective solutions to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Complete and submit detailed work orders and reports, providing accurate and timely information to our management team.
  • Prepare and submit quotes for repairs and maintenance, ensuring transparency and fairness in our pricing.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Technical school certificate or military training preferred.
  • 1-5 years of experience in generator maintenance and repair required.
  • Experience with Kohler Power Systems a plus.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively, with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
