Compensation: $28.68 per hour, based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and standardize onboarding training resources for new patient access personnel.
- Facilitate ongoing educational sessions for existing staff focusing on denial trends.
- Instruct personnel on Patient Access tools and software applications.
- Propose and execute strategies to enhance workflow and patient satisfaction.
- Encourage a culture of continuous learning and process enhancement within the organization.
- Support the supervision and coordination of daily operations in the Patient Access department.
- Oversee the SumTotal Education system management.
Education, Training & Experience:
- High School Diploma/GED is required; an Associate Degree in business administration is preferred.
- A minimum of three (3) years of registration experience in the healthcare sector is required.
- Experience in delivering training in a professional setting is preferred.
Certifications / Licensure:
- Certification as a Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) is required within two (2) years of employment.
Essential Skills and Attributes:
- Understanding of departmental policies and State/Federal regulations.
- Ability to prioritize responsibilities and apply critical thinking.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal abilities.
- Exhibits flexibility, initiative, and effective communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving capabilities.
