Hours Per Week: 40 hrs week

Compensation: $28.68 per hour, based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and standardize onboarding training resources for new patient access personnel.
  • Facilitate ongoing educational sessions for existing staff focusing on denial trends.
  • Instruct personnel on Patient Access tools and software applications.
  • Propose and execute strategies to enhance workflow and patient satisfaction.
  • Encourage a culture of continuous learning and process enhancement within the organization.
  • Support the supervision and coordination of daily operations in the Patient Access department.
  • Oversee the SumTotal Education system management.

Education, Training & Experience:

  • High School Diploma/GED is required; an Associate Degree in business administration is preferred.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of registration experience in the healthcare sector is required.
  • Experience in delivering training in a professional setting is preferred.

Certifications / Licensure:

  • Certification as a Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) is required within two (2) years of employment.

Essential Skills and Attributes:

  • Understanding of departmental policies and State/Federal regulations.
  • Ability to prioritize responsibilities and apply critical thinking.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal abilities.
  • Exhibits flexibility, initiative, and effective communication skills.
