Maintenance Technician
This exciting role will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on production and facility equipment, as well as completing small electrical or mechanical projects as directed by the Team Lead or Supervisor. A solid understanding of preventative maintenance within a manufacturing environment is required to be successful in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure production equipment is running efficiently and effectively.
- Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to identify hazards, defects, and need for adjustments or repairs.
- Repair and replace electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components, such as motors, contractors, relays, timers, and valves.
- Maintain electrical spare parts inventory levels and perform repairs on equipment to restore it to safe and ideal working conditions.
- Utilize the CMMS system for data entry and adhere to work orders.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, overnight, weekends, holidays, and overtime, as needed.
- Must be able to lift upwards of 50lbs.
Qualifications:
- 1-6+ years of preventative maintenance experience is required.
- Can work well with a team and has mechanical aptitude/willingness to troubleshoot issues.
- Knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems is preferred.
- Understanding of preventative maintenance procedures is preferred.
- Forklift or scissor lift certification or experience is preferred.
Salary Range:
- $44,000-77,000 depending on experience.
Weekly Schedule Options:
- NIGHT SHIFT (additional $1.50/hr): 6:00 PM- 6:00 AM with rotating schedule 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 3 days off, 2 days on, etc.
- 1st SHIFT: 6:00 AM-6:00 PM with rotating schedule 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 3 days off, 2 days on, etc.
