Job Title: Sr. Platform Engineer

As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-based infrastructure solutions. You will collaborate closely with development teams to architect and implement applications and environments that meet the highest standards of availability, performance, and automation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement cloud-native infrastructure solutions using containerization, orchestration, and serverless technologies.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of infrastructure and application services.
  • Develop and maintain reusable components, frameworks, and tools to improve developer experience and efficiency.
  • Assist in building world-class, multi-cloud capable products by automating build and deployment processes, verifying and rolling back changes, and scaling bi-directionally.
  • Implement observability as code, including metrics, logging, tracing, and alerting.
Requirements:
  • 5-7+ years of experience in large-scale engineering teams or commerce environments where downtime is not acceptable.
  • 3+ years of experience supporting container runtimes and orchestration in production.
  • In-depth understanding of cloud-native design patterns, including infrastructure as code and microservices.
  • Experience with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-prem solutions (VMWare, OpenShift).
  • Strong aptitude for learning new technologies and understanding how to best utilize them.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in retail preferred but not required.
