About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Platform Engineer to join our dedicated Generative AI platform engineering team. As a key member of this team, you will play a critical role in building our internal GENAI workbench and foundational Generative AI Apps and tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and build data-intensive solutions using distributed computing.
  • Develop and deploy software and/or platform infrastructure solutions for enterprises.
  • Collaborate with the DevSecOps team to build CICD/IAC pipelines.
  • Work with the data science team to improve the accuracy of LLM models.
  • Design a Generative AI foundational Infrastructure that conforms to our strict security standards/guardrails.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a technical field.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience designing and building data-intensive solutions using distributed computing.
  • Knowledge or working experience with AWS cloud is a plus.
  • 1-2 years building and shipping software and/or platform infrastructure solutions for enterprises.
  • Knowledge on Terraform/AWS Cloud Formation is a plus.
  • Knowledge or experience with one or more of the following: CI/CD pipelines, Automated Testing, Automated Deployments, Agile methodologies, Unit Testing and Integration Testing tools.
  • Knowledge on data engineering, ETL technology, and NoSql is a plus.
  • 2-3 years of programming experience with Python / Java is desired.
  • Knowledge on LLM orchestration frameworks like Langchain, LlamaIndex etc. is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
What We Offer

The Hartford offers a competitive annualized base pay range of $97,600 - $146,400, as well as a comprehensive total compensation package that includes short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition.
