Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement new features and technical products that enhance the quality and reliability of our applications
  • Develop and execute long-term visions for technical products and applications, ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • Collaborate with agile squads to drive architecture and design decisions, ensuring seamless integration with multiple services and applications
  • Develop software that meets code quality standards and metrics, with a focus on test-driven development and continuous improvement
  • Guide communities of practice by mentoring developers, creating and enforcing standards, and sharing knowledge to promote operational excellence
  • Maintain effective partnerships with operations and engineering teams to drive service improvement and ensure compliance with audit requirements
  • Remain current on IT trends and best practices, applying knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in technical products and applications
  • Assist with problem resolution for end users and customers, ensuring timely and effective support

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or comparable with 8+ years of experience
  • Knowledge of object-oriented and functional software design, as well as software development best practices
  • Familiarity with RESTful networking and prior experience with Git and GitHub
  • Understanding of software development methodologies, security best practices, and strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
