Job Title: Reading Instructor

We are seeking a highly qualified Reading Instructor to join our team at Hillsborough County Public Schools. As a Reading Instructor, you will be responsible for designing and implementing effective instruction to meet the diverse needs of our students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that align with state standards and district curriculum.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters student growth and achievement.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching strategies to meet the individual needs of students, including those with diverse educational, cultural, and linguistic backgrounds.
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction to ensure student mastery of standards.
  • Manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe and respectful learning environment.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and school personnel to ensure student success.
Requirements:
  • Florida Professional Educator Certificate preferred.
  • Eligibility for Florida Temporary Certificate required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
