Administrative Support Professional for Research Team

Join Los Alamos National Laboratory as a part-time Administrative Support Professional for our Thermonuclear Plasma Physics Group (P-4). As a member of the Administrative Operations Team, you will support day-to-day administrative activities under the supervision of the group's Professional Staff Assistant with additional tasking and oversight from the Group Management team.
Key Responsibilities- Execute complex administrative and office-related functions and activities requiring sound judgement and independent action.
- Utilize a high degree of initiative.
- Generate a variety of internal and external professional correspondence.
- Coordinate multiple calendars and complex schedules.
- Coordinate meeting/conference scheduling and announcement logistics.
- Compile, organize, and develop briefing and meeting documentation.
- Administrative Support: Knowledge of and experience in providing administrative services and activities, including general office management. Demonstrated ability to effectively manage complex calendars and coordinate meetings.
- Organization and Time Management: Demonstrated ability to work independently while maintaining quality in daily operational work. Ability to organize, prioritize, and complete multiple projects with strict deadlines and changing priorities.
- Business Systems: Computer skills in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), SharePoint, Teams, and WebEx.
- Communication: Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written) while interacting effectively with all levels of employees and managers.
Position requires a High School Diploma and 2 years related experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience directly related to the occupation.

Estimated Salary:$45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
