Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our State and Local Tax (SALT) practice at KPMG. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional client service to multi-state companies with state and local tax issues, including compliance, advisory services, planning, technology, and controversies.

Responsibilities will include reviewing information presented on state sales and use tax returns, supporting multi-state companies with state and local tax controversies, researching and drafting technical memoranda, supervising and mentoring staff members, and assisting with business development and delivery of SALT services.

Qualifications include a minimum of five years of recent experience performing tax research and providing technical advice on multi-state tax issues, a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university, and a licensed CPA, EA, JD/LLM, MST, or a certified member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation (CMI) designation.
