Job Summary and Qualifications

We are looking for a skilled Registered Nurse to become part of our Med/Surg/Progressive Care Float Pool. In this role, you will deliver clinical expertise to ensure that all patients receive high-quality, efficient care in our medical-surgical and telemetry environments. Our team is committed to supporting one another, and we seek a dedicated professional who shares our passion for patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients in Med/Surg, Telemetry, and Progressive Care.
  • Educate patients and families on medication and treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, including test results and examinations.
  • Administer medications as per physician orders.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a valid Florida Registered Nurse license or appropriate compact licensure.
  • Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
  • Prior experience in an acute care setting is strongly preferred.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
  • NIHSS certification required within a specified grace period.
  • Strong critical thinking, service excellence, and communication skills.
