The role involves executing a range of tasks that vary from repetitive to non-repetitive assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical components and subcomponents, including modules, circuit boards, panels, drawers, frames, and wiring.
Responsibilities include interpreting diagrams and schematics, creating initial layouts, and utilizing hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws. The assembler will perform continuity checks on both in-progress and finished work, and may carry out quality inspections along the production line to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Additionally, the position may require disassembling, modifying, reworking, reassembling, and testing experimental or prototype components and subcomponents according to established specifications and under simulated conditions.
