Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance: Install and maintain network devices, cable management systems, and servers in our data center.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support to our network owner/user community, ensuring seamless connectivity and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate documentation of Service Desk trouble tickets and record assets assigned to users.
  • Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor system interfaces, communication utilities, and take corrective action as needed.
  • Server Management: Install, rack, and manage servers, including adding memory, hard drives, network interface cards, and CPU upgrades.
Requirements
  • Familiarization with IBM Z10 Mainframe Environment: Knowledge of TSO, MVS, Jes2, CA7, and other related systems.
  • Service Now Ticketing System: Experience with Service Now ticketing system and asset management.
  • Inventory and Backup: Perform daily and monthly backups of tapes for offsite storage and maintain accurate inventory.
