We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Froedtert South. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing routine and minor special radiographic procedures in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Operate radiographic and ancillary equipment, including cameras, recorders, and processors.
- Administer contrast materials as dictated by exam protocols.
- Assist with departmental coverage at satellite facilities, including weekend, holiday, and on-call coverage.
- Receive and record verbal orders from licensed independent practitioners.
- Administer medications in a timely manner, safely, and in accordance with policy and procedure.
- Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or graduate of an accredited certification program.
- Entry-level experience as a Radiology Technologist.
- Licensure to practice as a Licensed Radiographer in the State of Wisconsin.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (A.R.R.T) registration.
- Current BLS and/or CPR certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Froedtert South is a comprehensive regional healthcare system serving southeastern Wisconsin and northern Illinois communities for over 100 years. We provide services primarily through the Froedtert Kenosha Hospital and the Froedtert Pleasant Prairie Hospital, as well as several clinic locations.
