About the Role

The Lead Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in the success of our warehouse operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily workload activities, monitoring productivity, and ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and Monitor Daily Workload Activities: Review, assign, and complete daily workloads, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure order quality and accuracy.
  • Evaluate Workloads and Team Resources: Communicate changing requirements to management for workflow and assignment adjustments.
  • Monitor Equipment, Safety, and Security: Ensure company policies are followed and maintain a safe and secure work environment.
  • Train and Develop Team Members: Provide initial training to production floor personnel in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Foster Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Manage Personnel and Resources: Utilize and assign personnel where needed to ensure maximum efficiency and attainment of established production standards.
  • Review and Monitor Productivity Reports: Conduct regular reviews of line reconciliation paperwork for accuracy.
  • Conduct Employee Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to team members.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent and at least 4 years of relevant experience in a warehouse or production environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel, including spreadsheets and formulas, and experience with warehouse management systems.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, customer service orientation, and strong team player.
Physical and Cognitive Requirements
  • Ability to Follow Policies and Procedures: Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Ability to Read, Write, and Interpret Information: Read, write, and interpret information related to job duties.
  • Ability to Add, Subtract, Multiply, and Divide: Perform basic math calculations.
  • Ability to Use Hands to Finger, Handle, or Feel: Use hands to perform job duties.
  • Ability to Sit, Walk, or Stand for Up to 10 Hours per Day: Perform job duties in a standing or sitting position.
  • Ability to Intermittently Crawl, Squat, Climb, Twist, Bend, Stoop, Push, or Pull: Perform job duties that require physical activity.
  • Visual Acuity: Possess close, distance, and color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Lifting and Carrying: Lift and carry items less than 30 pounds.
