What you'll be responsible for:
Generating controls documentation such as interface specifications and operational sequences for automation projects, conducting reach assessments and time evaluations for robotic cells and other automation systems.
Programming robots (Yaskawa, Universal, Omron) and automation systems (Omron, Mitsubishi, Allen-Bradley - Rockwell, Keyence). HMI Programming. Assisting in the programming and troubleshooting of injection molding machines, blow molding machines, associated robots (Star, ARI, Yushin), and automated assembly systems.
Wiring of control systems, including a solid understanding of safety relay circuitry.Collaborating with other departments to ensure project success and completion.
Conducting studies and cycle time evaluations.
Serving as the liaison between the organization and clients to guarantee product precision. Supervising and training Automation Technicians.
Designing and constructing automated systems (cells) with the in-house automation team.
Identifying processes currently in operation for automation enhancements.
Working with automation vendors to supply equipment for existing and future processes.
Creating and maintaining backups of all automated processes.

Exceptional communication abilities, both written and verbal.
Mechanical aptitude. A collaborative team player capable of engaging with all levels of staff.
Experience in Robot Programming, Omron Controllers, Mitsubishi Controllers, Allen-Bradley, Keyence vision systems, and sensors.
Proficiency in Human Machine Interface (HMI) programming.
