**Job Summary**
Assist the Director of Pharmacy in the duties of organizing and providing Pharmaceutical services to all hospital services and disciplines.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Interpret and evaluate physician orders in order to prepare, calculate and dispense appropriate medication dosage forms for inpatient and outpatients.
- Present recommendations for formulary changes to the Director of Pharmacy (recommendations for deletions should include reasons and additions should include a drug review).
- Supervise generation of computerized MAR's and ensure their delivery to appropriate units.
- Generate exception report and resolve potential future problems.
- Ensure appropriate drug therapy for each patient.
**Requirements**
- Active Kentucky Pharmacist License.
- Recent hospital experience preferred.
