Job Summary

AdventHealth is seeking a skilled Inpatient Pharmacist to join our team on a PRN basis. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of medications in our hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and manage medication orders to prevent and resolve potential and actual drug-related problems
  • Provide accurate and timely dispensing of medications to patients
  • Communicate effectively with physicians and other clinicians to facilitate patient care
  • Oversee technical personnel and assist with academic functions such as precepting pharmacy students
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Doctorate of Pharmacy required
  • Pharmacist credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation
  • Pharmacy residency preferred
