We are seeking a highly skilled Product Designer to join our team at January Service Company. As a Product Designer, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our products, helping borrowers regain financial stability while driving growth and innovation in the credit ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities- Support borrowers toward financial improvement by providing optimistic and persuasive visual layouts that support January's mission and brand.
- Partner directly with Product Managers and our Analytics & Data Science team to build and validate hypotheses about new opportunities, playing a significant role in shaping our roadmap and direction.
- Work closely cross-functionally to bring new opportunities to life through wireframes, mockups, and pixel-perfect designs.
- Use the insights you uncover through user research to craft improved user experiences.
- Be the voice of our users, helping us make more empathetic experiences for borrowers.
- 2+ years of experience as a UX/Product Designer.
- Demonstrate a proven track record of leveraging copywriting, visual design, illustration, storytelling, usability and other design skills to create persuasive and creative designs that lead to real customer growth and brand engagement.
- Understand how to increase product adoption through compelling design across a variety of mediums such as landing pages, email campaigns, and onboarding experiences.
- Be hyper-focused on using design to make meaningful improvements to the user experience and overall business objectives.
- Have experience conducting UX research with diverse groups and translating findings into actionable insights.
- Be a strong communicator who can oversee the user experience of a product area from conception to launch in partnership with product managers, engineers, and analytics teams.
- Have the ability to take broad ideas and turn them into something actionable and useful.
