Product Designer

Whalar Group is seeking a highly skilled Product Designer to join our dynamic product development team. As a Product Designer, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our creator tools, empowering talent representatives to manage their day-to-day workflow and grow their businesses.

About the Role

We are looking for a talented Product Designer to lead design-heavy projects, drive user experience design, and collaborate with product owners to identify customer challenges. You will be responsible for creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs, iterating based on user feedback and data to ensure clear design intent.

Responsibilities
  • Lead design-heavy projects from concept through to completion
  • Map and design user experiences for our key products, ensuring a seamless and intuitive journey for users
  • Collaborate with product owners to identify customer challenges and leverage data on user types, behaviors, scenarios, needs, expectations, and the anticipated impact of our solutions
  • Prototype and iterate on designs based on user feedback and data
  • Partner with development teams to ensure seamless integration of designs and coordinate visual and UX QA to maintain high standards
  • Develop and maintain our design system, ensuring its adoption and continuous evolution to meet product needs and industry best practices
  • Write clear specifications for new features and components and define usage guidelines to ensure product consistency
  • Support the development team in an agile environment to ensure the fastest possible implementation of designs without compromising quality
  • Mentor junior team members and provide guidance and support to help them grow and excel
Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in product design with a strong portfolio showcasing user-centric digital experiences
  • Proficiency in UX/UI tools such as Figma and Miro, with experience in prototyping tools of choice and the ability to learn new software quickly
  • Experience conducting user research and testing, translating insights into actionable solutions
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to give and receive constructive feedback
  • Strong analytical skills and a talent for turning complex problems into simple, elegant solutions
  • A self-starter attitude with the ability to make things happen with limited direction
  • Strong communication skills in English

Whalar Group provides a competitive salary range of $100,000 - $140,000, flexible benefits, and a collaborative work environment.
