The Aspenwood Company - Village of Tanglewood is seeking dedicated individuals for the role of Concierge/Front Desk/Security Associate within our Independent Living senior community. This position is available in both full-time and part-time capacities.

Position Overview:
The Concierge plays a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for residents, families, prospective residents, guests, and staff. The ideal candidate will exhibit professionalism, friendliness, and a keen attention to detail while being responsive to the needs of our community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and assist with all incoming public traffic, addressing inquiries with courtesy and warmth.
  • Serve as the first point of contact, ensuring cleanliness and order in common areas.
  • Respond promptly to the needs of residents, families, vendors, and visitors.
  • Support the sales and marketing team by managing inquiries in line with company strategies.
  • Follow the concierge schedule and instructions from supervisors, adhering to established policies.
  • Handle guest and employee meal ticket sales and other service requests efficiently.
  • Operate the paging and telephone systems as necessary.
  • Answer phone calls, determine the nature of inquiries, and relay information appropriately.
  • Assist with maintenance requests through both paper and electronic systems.
  • Monitor emergency calls, doors, and alarms, responding according to established protocols.
  • Drive residents to appointments or events as needed.
  • Assist in scheduling interviews for job applicants.
  • Track the movement of residents and guests within the community.
  • Participate as a member of the community's emergency response team.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to personal hygiene standards.
  • Exhibit the ability to stand for extended periods and work in various environments.
  • Lift items up to 40 lbs and occasionally climb stairs or ladders.
  • Assist with special projects or tasks as assigned.
  • Identify and report any suspicious behavior to prevent theft or vandalism.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED is required.
  • Previous experience in customer service, front desk operations, and telephone communication is preferred.
  • A valid Texas Driver's License is mandatory.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, good judgment, and attention to detail are required.
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations is necessary.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and basic Excel skills.
