The Executive Director is responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of the community, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and company policies. This role is crucial in delivering exceptional care to residents while maintaining the financial health of the community and fostering a positive workplace for all staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee, plan, develop, and implement all daily operations of the community.
  • Collaborate with department heads to establish and enforce departmental policies and procedures.
  • Encourage teamwork and cooperation among staff across all departments.
  • Identify areas for improvement and develop corrective action plans to enhance resident services.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Guarantee that residents receive appropriate services tailored to their physical, mental, and emotional needs.
  • Conduct surveys and exit interviews to assess satisfaction and identify areas for enhancement.
  • Work with the Director of Sales to promote the community and achieve occupancy goals.
  • Manage all financial operations, including budget approvals and maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Stay informed on all regulatory requirements and industry trends.
  • Ensure the management team adheres to company policies and maintains necessary certifications.
  • Oversee the physical maintenance of the property to ensure a safe environment for residents and staff.
  • Manage workers' compensation claims and safety complaints effectively.
  • Recruit, hire, and evaluate community staff while ensuring compliance with company policies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, nursing, or human services, or a combination of education and experience in a supervisory role within senior living, healthcare, or hospitality.
  • A minimum of eight to ten years of experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or a related field.
  • At least five years of leadership experience in a senior living environment is required.
  • Current state and federal certifications or licenses to manage a community.
  • First Aid Certification is mandatory.
  • Background checks as required by government regulations.
  • Must meet health requirements, including TB testing.
