Position Overview

WestCare Foundation is in search of a committed individual to fulfill the role of Veterans Advocate. This position entails engaging with Veterans and their families to create tailored service plans aimed at achieving their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Outreach: Conduct outreach initiatives to connect with Veterans in the community.
  • Referral Coordination: Manage and coordinate referrals to appropriate services.
  • Education: Provide educational resources and information to Veterans and their families.
  • Intake and Case Management: Oversee the intake process and manage individual cases effectively.
  • Community Service Coordination: Facilitate community-based services to support Veterans.
Essential Functions

The role requires participation in community events, scheduling appointments, and engaging in team-building activities. Additionally, attending meetings with referral agencies and providing crisis intervention when necessary are critical components of this position.

Qualifications
