Job Overview:
The Radiology Services Manager oversees licensed professionals delivering diagnostic imaging and patient care services. This role involves monitoring staff efficiency and productivity, as well as reviewing imaging results to ensure the correct use of equipment and imaging technologies.

Responsible for managing the operations of radiology services, ensuring compliance with productivity and quality benchmarks, as well as internal policies and external regulations. Adjusts protocols as necessary to maintain high-quality outcomes and engages in quality enhancement initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Recommend enhancements to departmental processes and policies to ensure the highest quality of patient services.
  • Train radiology technologists on innovative techniques, systems, operations, and regulations.
  • Mentor staff in achieving professional objectives and identifying areas for growth.
  • Collaborate with radiology leadership to devise strategies for performance enhancement.
  • Assist management in coordinating staff development, training, and competency evaluations.
  • Facilitate communication across services to guarantee quality diagnostic services and work with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient care and operations.
  • Participate in recruitment efforts and conduct orientation for new employees.
  • Assess performance and competency, establishing development goals.
  • Advise on staffing and budget adjustments to ensure efficient Radiology operations.
  • Serve as a role model for the assigned team.
  • Provide patient care as necessary and perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • At least nine (9) years of relevant experience, education, or training; OR a Bachelor's Degree in business, healthcare administration, or a related field with five (5+) or more years of pertinent experience.
  • Licensed technologist in a radiology modality.
  • Knowledgeable in a radiology modality with the ability to apply principles in an acute care environment to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • California Radiology Technologist - Fluoroscopy (CRT-F).
  • Registered Technologist for Radiography issued by ARRT (R.T(R)(ARRT)).
  • Three years of experience in a lead or supervisory capacity.
  • Certification in venipuncture.

Special Conditions:
  • Must be flexible to work various hours and locations based on operational needs.
  • Employment is contingent upon a criminal background check and pre-employment physical examination.

Compensation Transparency:

The annual full pay range is $101,200 - $192,200 (subject to prorating if the appointment percentage is less than 100%). Factors influencing compensation include experience, skills, knowledge, education, licensure, certifications, and organizational needs.
