Key Responsibilities- Investigate and Evaluate Claims: You'll be responsible for investigating and evaluating property claims of moderate severity and complexity, ensuring accurate scope of damages and utilizing innovative technologies to determine coverage and damages.
- Handle Claim Reserves: You'll establish timely and accurate claim and expense reserves, determining appropriate settlement amounts based on independent judgment and computer-assisted estimates.
- Negotiate Claim Settlements: You'll negotiate and convey claim settlements within authority limits, ensuring excellent customer service and meeting quality standards.
- Manage Claim Files: You'll maintain diary systems, capturing all required data and documents claim file activities in accordance with established procedures, and manage file inventory to ensure timely resolution of cases.
- Provide Excellent Customer Service: You'll provide exceptional customer service to meet the needs of insureds, agents, and other internal and external customers/business partners.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred or a minimum of two years of work or customer service-related experience.
- Skills: Demonstrated ownership attitude and customer-centric response to all assigned tasks, verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail ensuring accuracy, ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities, analytical thinking, and judgment/decision-making.
