Paralegal Project Associate I

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Paralegal to join our team at Travelers Insurance. As a Paralegal, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our attorneys, including preparing legal documents, conducting research, and coordinating with clients and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, including discovery responses, affidavits, and other routine legal documents.
- Conduct preliminary legal research and summarize relevant documents, reports, and records.
- Coordinate requests between multiple parties involved in litigation.
- Capture time and record billable time in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Schedule and coordinate depositions, medical examinations, and other court-designated hearings.
- Input and maintain information into our case management system to ensure data integrity.
- Assist with projects as requested.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Paralegal or litigation/claim experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of Medical Terminology.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and PDF Software.
- Advanced interpersonal skills to communicate with court personnel, other attorneys and their staff, clients, witnesses, and outside vendors.
- Advanced grammar and writing skills.
- Basic knowledge of general law office procedures and local court/jurisdiction rules and procedures.
- Highly proficient with the usage of a case management system and other software applications such as Microsoft Office.
- Ability to learn proprietary software systems.
