About the Position:

  • Assist in the management of parking policies and procedures to ensure they meet expectations and established standards.
  • Support the management of team members, including hiring, training, coaching, and counseling, to ensure performance standards are met.
  • Assist in planning and directing special event activities and coordinate with other Supervisors and Directors as required.
  • Respond to and resolve guest or visitor complaints, vehicle claims, and service discrepancies.
  • Maintain communication with property management, Site Manager, customers, and guests.
  • Keep Site Manager informed of management concerns and resolve issues promptly in their absence.
  • Conduct shift briefings and staff meetings to ensure a consistent flow of information.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing team members on equipment and resource use.
  • Handle call-offs and assist with scheduling as needed.
  • Diagnose and perform preventative care maintenance.

Accountability:

  • The Parking Manager is responsible for ensuring parking policies and procedures meet expectations and managing team members to ensure performance standards are met.

Communication:

  • Effective communication is crucial for the Assistant Manager role, requiring constant communication with property management, Site Manager, customers, and guests.

Exceptional Service:

  • Our commitment to exceptional service is non-negotiable, and the Assistant Manager must go above and beyond to exceed guest expectations, assisting with luggage, providing directions, and offering assistance whenever needed.

Profitability:

  • While the Assistant Manager's primary role is management, they should also be mindful of operational efficiency, overseeing multiple locations' operations.

About YOU:

To work at Ace Parking, you should possess the following experience and attributes:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
  • One-year supervisory experience required.
  • Prior parking experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule and be available to work weekends.
  • Must meet Motor Vehicle Requirement (MVR) guidelines.
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
  • Must be able to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
  • Possess excellent customer service skills.
  • Demonstrate exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of and working skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced working environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs.
  • Ability to work in a high-energy environment, handle multiple tasks, and work within time constraints.
