Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing patient care and supporting our healthcare team. Your expertise and passion for delivering exceptional patient experiences will make a significant impact on our patients' lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for examination and treatment by taking vital signs and obtaining medical histories.
  • Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals with patient care, including administering injections and performing lab tests.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to patient inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care, including coordinating transfers and scheduling follow-up appointments.
Requirements
  • 1+ year of experience in a clinical patient setting, preferably in urgent care or a similar environment.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Medical Assisting or completion of an approved program (BOTP) is required.
  • Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) is highly desirable.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
