Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team at The Center for Orthopedic and Research E. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers
  • Prepare patients for visits with healthcare providers, including rooming patients, obtaining and documenting vitals, and reviewing intake paperwork
  • Assist healthcare providers with preparing patient prescriptions and completing medical and patient forms
  • Retrieve and respond to voicemails within 24 business hours and document actions in the electronic medical record
  • Prepare patient electronic charts for clinic visits prior to the date of service
  • Verify any outstanding testing results are in the electronic medical record and confirm the appropriateness of the patient to the healthcare provider
  • Scans clinical documents into the electronic medical record
  • Print clinic schedules on the morning of the date of service
  • Ensure patients receive education as indicated by the healthcare provider
  • Manage electronic medical record desktops of assigned healthcare providers in a timely manner
Requirements
